I've always felt that stepping into any online world can be as strange as visiting another country in real life. This one is no different. Order or Destruction? High Elves or Dark Elves? And what the heck is a Greenskin anyway? It's all a part of this adventurous world ruled by the powers of weapon and witchcraft. There is glory to be had on these shores. Thousands of other players to befriend or conquer. But it's more difficult to do either without the knowledge to do so. Which is readily available in many a Warhammer Online guide.
A Warhammer Online guide can be extremely helpful for both PvP and PvE types alike. This game certainly does integrate them well with each other too. In fact, every facet of the game has the bigger picture in mind. Content geared towards those who prefer Player versus Environment adventures is still geared towards the progression of the war in one way or another.
It really is amazing how massive these games have become lately. It's gotten so that you need a Warhammer Online guide just to get by, unless you are some sort of elite gamer or something. Those types are the ones who find everything in the game themselves. The ones who push the envelope and get all the best gear first and are the richest. They are the ones who can write things like a good Warhammer Online guide.
Personally, I have never been one of them. I have done all right in any game that I've tried, but have never gotten to the top echelon. I've always wanted to be there. Especially in games like this where PvP is a key factor. Who doesn't want to be able to defend themselves, after all. But the time it takes to be the best in such a competitive environment is just too much for me usually. I no longer have all day to hone the skills. Even when I did, there were always those who were better thanb I ever became.
So, the chouce for me has always been clear. The answer to the question that started this was always simple. Do I want to be one of those who doesn't have the knowledge, doesn't have the time or skill to acquire the knowledge, and gets whupped up on by those who do? Or do I want to get myself a good Warhammer Online guide or two and have the tools I need to make the most out of the games that I play. Let's just say that I don't like whuppins much.
